The new Marc Jacobs Beauty ‘Shameless’ foundation provides a youthful look with a 24h power stay and spf 25. It technically has everything you’d want in a foundation and even comes in 29 shades to complement all skin tone.
The Shameless foundation contains a first to market technology that encapsulates the spf in pigment. This innovation makes the spf invisible, resulting in no flashback in photos and no ashy grey undertones in the formula.
The formulation is oil free with buildable medium coverage and a natural looking, self-setting finish. You can read more about Marc Jacobs ‘Shameless’ foundation here.
I got the shade Y210, light with yellow undertones, as suggested by Sephora’s website based on previous purchases. I am currently mixing it with a bronzing primer as I’m still quite tanned from Perth’s hot summer, and the combination achieves a more suitable colour match.
Winter is not far away though, and I’m sure it will be good enough on its own then.
My skin tends to be more on the dry side with some oiliness on the T-zone, so I normally go for dewy foundations but the Shameless foundation is oil-free and it doesn’t make my skin looks dull at all. The finish is neither dewy nor matte but very natural looking.
I love the fact that it has spf 25 and a light and creamy consistency that allows to build up coverage. Marc Jacobs Shameless foundation blends seamlessly onto the skin and applies with ease.
The packaging is simple and small enough to carry in your handbag, although you won’t need any touch up during the day as the duration power is extremely good.
I recommend blending it with clean fingers or a beauty sponge as the results are much better than using a make up brush.
